Job Description
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - HR will play a key role in supporting the HR department with various human resources functions. You will assist in managing recruitment processes, employee relations, performance management, and training & development initiatives. The role will focus on maintaining and improving the company’s HR practices, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Support the HR Manager in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
Coordinate employee engagement programs and foster a positive company culture.
Assist in handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Support performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans.
Assist in organizing and facilitating training and development programs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Provide support for payroll processing and benefits administration.
Assist in HR reporting and metrics tracking.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in hospitality or a related industry.
Strong understanding of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
