HR Assistant

Job Description

Position Overview

The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the HR department, handling various administrative tasks and assisting with recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the full recruitment cycle including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews

Maintain employee records and HR database with high attention to detail

Process employee documentation including contracts, offer letters, and clearances

Support payroll administration and attendance tracking

Assist in employee onboarding and orientation processes

Handle basic employee queries and provide HR-related information

Coordinate with PRO for visa processing and related documentation

Support HR Manager in implementing HR policies and procedures

Assist in organizing employee events and activities

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information

Generate HR reports and update HR metrics regularly

Support performance management administration

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

1-2 years of HR experience (minimum experience from home country mandatory)

Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures

Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel)

Excellent organizational and administrative skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good command of written and spoken English

Experience with HRMS systems

Desired Skills & Attributes

Previous experience in healthcare sector is an advantage

Knowledge of UAE labor laws

Arabic language skills are a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Good time management skills

Problem-solving abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
