Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant with a strong background in healthcare HR operations, preferably with expertise in Learning & Development. This role will support the Human Resources department in delivering comprehensive HR services to our hospital staff.
Required Experience
1-2 years of HR experience specifically in UAE healthcare sector (mandatory)
Background in Learning & Development preferred
Experience with healthcare recruitment and staffing
Key Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes for medical and non-medical staff
Support Learning & Development initiatives and training programs
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Process employee documentation including licenses and certifications
Coordinate with DHA/MOH for staff licensing and credentials
Assist in performance management processes
Support employee relations and engagement activities
Help organize and conduct staff training sessions
Maintain HR databases and filing systems
Assist in payroll administration and benefits coordination
Support visa and immigration processes for medical staff
Help coordinate staff scheduling and attendance tracking
Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare HR practices
Understanding of healthcare licensing requirements
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in HR information systems
Good communication skills in English
Ability to handle confidential information
Strong interpersonal skills
Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
HR certifications are a plus
Training and development certifications preferred
