HR and Recruitment Intern – Remote

Job Description

Aperture Venture Studio is hiring for an HR and Recruitment Intern to join their AI-powered HR team and gain real world experience across recruitment, talent development, and HR technology tools. This is a remote opportunity based out of Toronto, Canada, running for three to six months, and is well suited to a student or recent graduate who is eager to work with global teams, explore the practical use of AI in HR operations, and build a meaningful foundation in recruitment and people management within a dynamic venture studio environment.

In this role, you will support the end to end recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews with candidates and team leads. You will work with AI tools for recruitment automation, resume review, and talent tracking, gaining hands on exposure to how modern HR technology is applied in a fast moving organisation. You will communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders through email and LinkedIn, assist with onboarding and HR data management, and support coordination across global intern cohorts. Contributing to HR reporting and maintaining follow up with country HR teams will also form part of your responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is currently studying or has recently completed a degree in human resources, business, technology, corporate finance, investment, or a related field. An interest in AI and recruitment technology is important, as this role sits at the intersection of people operations and smart tooling. You should be proactive, responsible, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting. Fluency in Chinese, whether Mandarin or Cantonese, is preferred but not mandatory, reflecting the organisation's global team structure.

Aperture Venture Studio offers interns the opportunity to learn smart recruiting and AI enhanced HR practices while working alongside a global team in a flexible remote setup. You will gain experience in leadership and project coordination, and receive three official internship certificates upon successful completion of the programme.
