Job Overview: The HR Admin – F&B Industry role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to support the human resources and administrative operations of a dynamic hospitality brand in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about people management within a fast-paced food and beverage environment. The role requires a strong understanding of HR processes, documentation, and employee relations, combined with an ability to handle general office and administrative duties efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: The HR Admin will be responsible for managing employee records, contracts, and attendance systems while ensuring full compliance with UAE labor laws. This includes processing onboarding and offboarding documentation, coordinating with PROs for visa processing, and maintaining up-to-date personnel files. The role also involves assisting in payroll preparation, leave tracking, and benefits administration. The candidate will serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related queries and ensure seamless communication between management and staff.
Recruitment and Staffing: The HR Admin will support recruitment activities such as job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting in the selection process. The candidate will ensure that all new hires are onboarded smoothly and receive the necessary orientation and training. Maintaining a proactive approach to manpower planning, especially within the F&B sector, will be essential to ensure staffing needs are consistently met across outlets or departments.
Employee Relations: This position requires maintaining a positive and professional relationship between employees and management. The HR Admin will address employee concerns, assist in conflict resolution, and help promote a respectful and inclusive workplace. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to mediate minor grievances while maintaining confidentiality and fairness in all HR-related matters.
Administrative Duties: In addition to HR responsibilities, the candidate will oversee general office administration, manage correspondence, coordinate meetings, and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. Maintaining accurate documentation, filing systems, and internal communication records will be an integral part of this role. The HR Admin will also assist the management team with HR reports and administrative support whenever required.
F&B Industry Expertise: As this position is within the food and beverage sector, familiarity with F&B operations, employee scheduling, health and safety requirements, and hospitality workforce management will be highly valued. Understanding the unique challenges of staffing restaurants, cafes, and kitchens will allow the HR Admin to handle recruitment, compliance, and HR coordination effectively, ensuring that business operations run efficiently.
