Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional cleanliness standards while managing staff and operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all housekeeping operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel
Manage, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff
Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards
Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Monitor and control department expenses within budget
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Implement environmentally friendly cleaning practices
Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience in luxury hotels
At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and procedures
Experience with hotel management software
Excellent command of English (Arabic language skills preferred)
