Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Engineer to join our maintenance team at Seven Seas Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of hotel operations, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring optimal functionality and guest comfort.

Required Experience

3-5 years of engineering experience specifically in UAE hotels or similar facilities

Proven track record in hotel maintenance and engineering operations

UAE experience is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Oversee preventive maintenance programs for all hotel equipment and systems

Manage daily engineering operations and maintenance activities

Respond to and resolve guest engineering-related issues promptly

Maintain HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Supervise contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work

Monitor energy consumption and implement conservation measures

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs

Participate in emergency response procedures

Manage engineering inventory and supplies

Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption during maintenance work

Technical Skills Required

Strong knowledge of:

HVAC systems

Electrical systems

Plumbing systems

Building management systems

Fire and life safety systems

Energy management

Preventive maintenance procedures

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficiency in using maintenance management software

Additional Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)

Valid UAE engineering certifications and licenses

Strong problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills in English

Computer literacy and proficiency in maintenance management systems

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks

Emergency response capabilities
