Job Description:

Saudi German Health UAE Dubai Branch is actively seeking a qualified and licensed Histotechnologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and be registered with the DHA as a Histotechnologist. This role is critical for the preparation and examination of tissue samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process tissue samples for histological examination.

Stain and mount tissue samples on slides for microscopic examination.

Perform complex histological procedures with precision and accuracy.

Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Follow established protocols and safety procedures in handling specimens and chemicals.

Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.

Maintain detailed records of laboratory procedures and results.

Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure laboratory standards are met.

Stay updated with advances in histotechnology and implement new techniques as necessary.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Histotechnologist.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

DHA Histotechnologist registration is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of histological techniques and laboratory procedures.

Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software.

Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
