Duties & Responsibilities

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic at TAJVAND GROUP, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, including JCBs, boom loaders, excavators, and cranes.

Diagnostic Work: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy-duty vehicles and equipment to identify necessary repairs.

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of all heavy equipment.

Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety standards.

Parts Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts, ensuring that all necessary parts are available for timely repairs.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are performed in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of mechanical issues.

Customer Service: Interact with clients, suppliers, and vendors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a heavy-duty mechanic, with specific experience in working with heavy equipment such as JCBs, boom loaders, excavators, and cranes being an advantage.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.

License: Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Education: Relevant technical education or certifications in mechanics or a related field.

Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in maintenance and repair work.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environments.

Communication Skills: Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other stakeholders.
