Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our medical team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support while maintaining professional healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care needs

Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records

Assist with patient mobility and transfers

Administer prescribed medications under supervision

Observe and report changes in patient condition

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures

Assist with basic wound dressing and care

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team

Respond appropriately to emergency situations

Assist in patient rehabilitation activities

Coordinate with nurses and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

Valid Healthcare Assistant license from home country

Relevant healthcare qualification or certification

Previous experience in healthcare settings

Strong knowledge of medical terminology

Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Excellent command of English

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in UAE healthcare settings

Additional language skills (Arabic is a plus)

Experience with electronic medical records systems

First aid certification

Experience in emergency care

Required Skills

Strong patient care and communication abilities

Physical stamina for long shifts and patient handling

Attention to detail in following medical instructions

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Ability to work under pressure

Good problem-solving abilities

Cultural sensitivity and awareness

Working Conditions

Must be able to work different shifts (morning/evening/night)

May require weekend and holiday coverage

Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting patients

Exposure to medical environments and situations
