Job Description: Head Baker for a Cafe & Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Head Baker to join our team at a Cafe & Restaurant located in the vibrant Corniche area of Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking and pastry arts, possess strong leadership skills, and demonstrate creativity and innovation in developing new recipes and products. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from AED 10,000 to 12,000, along with additional benefits such as tips, meals, visa sponsorship, medical insurance, and flight tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the bakery, including production, inventory management, and quality control.

Develop and execute a diverse range of high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts in line with the restaurant's concept and standards.

Lead and motivate the bakery team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellence in performance and customer satisfaction.

Create and maintain standard recipes, portion sizes, and product consistency.

Manage ingredient procurement, storage, and cost control to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.

Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Baker or similar role in a busy bakery or pastry kitchen.

Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and pastry arts.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Creative flair and ability to develop innovative and unique baked goods.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff.

Flexibility to work a 6-day work week with 1 day off, including weekends and holidays.

Candidates based in Abu Dhabi are preferred.

Total Package:

Salary: AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month (Depending on Experience)
