Guest Service Officer

Job Description

Job Overview:

The Guest Service Officer is a critical role responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and managing the front-line operations of the Fitness Centre at Hyatt Regency Dubai & Galleria. This position serves as the primary point of contact for guests and members, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence

Greet and welcome guests and members with a professional and courteous demeanor

Provide first-class customer service that reflects the high standards of Hyatt Regency

Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and effectively

Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for all fitness centre users

Reception and Administrative Duties

Manage the reception area, maintaining a neat, organized, and inviting space

Handle check-in and check-out processes for fitness centre guests and members

Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest and membership records

Process membership registrations, renewals, and related administrative tasks

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or fitness centre operations

Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Proficient in basic computer applications and membership management systems

Professional and presentable appearance

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods

Basic physical fitness to navigate the fitness centre environment

Excellent stamina and energy
