Job Description

Position Overview

As a Guest Service Agent at Beach Walk Hotel, you will be the welcoming face of our stylish 4-star establishment located along Jumeirah Beach Road. This role requires exceptional customer service skills as you'll be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests, from their first inquiry through check-out and beyond. You'll embody our philosophy of "Take a break, Escape and Relax" in every guest interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Provide warm, professional greetings and check-in/check-out services at the front desk

Process reservations, room assignments, and key card distribution efficiently

Address guest inquiries about hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation options

Handle guest requests promptly and ensure their comfort throughout their stay

Process payments and maintain accurate billing records

Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs

Respond effectively to complaints or problems, seeking solutions that maintain guest satisfaction

Maintain detailed knowledge of room types, rates, packages, promotions, and hotel services

Assist with concierge services including restaurant reservations and activity bookings

Uphold hotel security procedures and emergency protocols

Support the hotel's guest loyalty initiatives

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a hotel setting

Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous

Proficiency with hotel management software and reservation systems

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Professional appearance and friendly, positive demeanor

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism degree preferred

Work Environment

Standing for extended periods at the front desk

Working in a busy lobby environment, sometimes managing multiple requests simultaneously

Shift work covering 24-hour operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
