Guest Service Agent

Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Guest Service Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our hotel guests, ensuring exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests upon arrival and perform efficient check-in/check-out procedures

Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally and promptly

Process reservations, room assignments, and guest payments

Manage guest complaints and ensure timely resolution

Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction

Maintain accurate guest records and hotel information

Handle telephone calls, emails, and guest correspondence

Process wake-up call requests and maintain message systems

Support concierge services and provide local area information

Ensure lobby and front desk areas are presentable at all times

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in UAE hotels as a Guest Service Agent or similar role

Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems

Experience with cash handling and credit card processing

Understanding of UAE hospitality standards and cultural expectations

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills in English

Arabic language skills (advantageous)

Strong customer service orientation

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Computer literacy and typing skills

Multi-tasking abilities

Problem-solving skills
