Guest Service Agent

Job Description

Position Overview:

Serve as the first point of contact for hotel guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient service throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute check-in and check-out procedures efficiently

Process reservations and room assignments

Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

Provide information about hotel services and local attractions

Coordinate with housekeeping for room status updates

Manage guest requests and maintain communication logs

Operate OnQ PMS system for daily operations

Handle telephone calls and guest correspondence

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management

1-2 years of front desk experience in a hotel setting

Proven experience with OnQ PMS system

Strong customer service orientation

Excellent communication skills

Basic accounting knowledge

Fluent in English; additional languages preferred

General Requirements:

Legal right to work in UAE

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Strong computer literacy

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to stand for extended periods

Experience with OnQ PMS system
