Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group CFO to join our diversified business group in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic direction across our group companies while working closely with senior management to drive business growth and optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight across all group companies and subsidiaries

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the group's long-term objectives

Lead and supervise all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and risk management

Establish and maintain robust financial controls and compliance procedures

Direct the preparation of all financial reports and statements for the group

Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions

Oversee treasury operations, investment strategies, and capital structure

Lead merger and acquisition activities, including due diligence and post-merger integration

Guide and mentor finance teams across the group companies

Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations

Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors

Manage the group's risk management framework and strategies

Required Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA)

MBA from a recognized institution

Minimum 10 years of senior financial management experience

Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and verbal)

Strong experience in managing diversified business portfolios

Deep understanding of UAE financial regulations and practices

Proven track record in strategic financial planning and execution

Technical Skills

Advanced financial modeling and analysis capabilities

Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)

Expertise in ERP systems and financial software

Proficiency in corporate finance and risk management

Experience with mergers and acquisitions

Leadership Competencies

Strong strategic thinking and business acumen

Excellent leadership and team management abilities

Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Proven ability to operate at board level

Strong stakeholder management capabilities

Decision-making skills with ability to handle complex situations

Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 years in senior financial management roles

Experience in managing multi-entity operations

Track record of successful strategic financial planning

Experience in UAE/GCC market preferred

Background in diversified business environments
