Are you passionate about ensuring regulatory excellence and facilitating collaboration with key government bodies? We're seeking a talented Government Compliance Manager to join our client and support their critical partnerships with VARA, Dubai and other Federal government bodies, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in bridging effective communication, compliance, and collaboration to strengthen regulatory frameworks across Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

Drive collaboration between VARA (Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority) and UAE's government and regulatory stakeholders

Navigate complex regulatory frameworks to support policy development, implementation, and compliance

Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders in a dynamic environment

Stay up-to-date with the latest UAE government regulations, policies, and compliance requirements

Provide guidance and support to internal teams on regulatory matters and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and guidelines

Identify and mitigate compliance risks, and implement appropriate control measures

Prepare and submit regulatory reports, filings, and other documentation as required

Represent the organization in meetings and negotiations with government bodies

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in navigating UAE's political systems, governance, and legal/regulatory frameworks

Direct experience working with UAE regulatory authorities and financial services regulation

Strong background in developing and implementing compliance programs and risk management principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

In-depth understanding of the UAE's government structure, decision-making processes, and key regulatory bodies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with compliance management software

University degree in a relevant field such as law, business, or public administration

What We Offer

Competitive salary range of AED 20,000 - 25,000 per month
