Position Overview

International Modern Hospital in Dubai is seeking dedicated General Ward Nurses to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in our general ward while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress

Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

Assist physicians during examinations and procedures

Respond promptly to emergency situations

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control protocols

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Supervise and guide junior nursing staff and assistants

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification

Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensing

Minimum 2 years of experience in general nursing

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures

Excellent English communication skills

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Technical Skills

Proficiency in electronic medical records systems

Knowledge of medical equipment and monitoring devices

Understanding of infection control protocols

Medication administration expertise

Wound care management skills

Personal Qualities

Strong patient care and service orientation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
