Employment: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced General Manager of Operations to oversee the operations of our water sports company in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the business to ensure smooth and efficient operations, exceptional customer service, and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the water sports facilities, including staffing, equipment maintenance, and customer service.

Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver high-quality services and achieve operational excellence.

Manage and optimize resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and execute strategies to attract and retain customers.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Ensure the safety of customers and employees by maintaining high standards of safety protocols and training programs.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to track and optimize operational performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and local authorities.

Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and risks.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years experience in water sports activities.

Verified license papers for workers trained from an accredited training center.

Necessary courses and certificates to practice water sports, water safety, first aid, or boat operation profession.

Licenses must be valid during the agreement period.

Proven experience in a similar role within the water sports or leisure industry.

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Excellent understanding of operational processes, safety standards, and customer service principles.

Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build relationships and negotiate with stakeholders.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and business growth.

Relevant certifications would be a plus.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
