Role Overview – Wynn Al Marjan Island is hiring a General Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This position is ideal for accomplished hospitality executives with extensive luxury resort leadership experience, integrated resort expertise, and the ability to lead all resort operations, drive financial performance, develop strategic direction, manage executive teams, and establish Wynn Al Marjan Island as the premier luxury integrated resort destination in the UAE and broader region.
Executive Leadership and Strategic Direction – You will provide executive leadership and strategic direction by defining the resort's vision, mission, and strategic objectives, developing comprehensive business strategies, leading organizational transformation and growth, establishing performance goals and targets, driving strategic initiatives, making high-level decisions on resort direction, and positioning Wynn Al Marjan Island as the leading luxury integrated resort in the UAE.
Overall Resort Operations Management – You will manage overall resort operations by overseeing all operational divisions including rooms division (front office, housekeeping, concierge, guest services), food and beverage operations (restaurants, bars, lounges, banqueting, in-room dining), gaming operations, spa and wellness, entertainment and nightlife, retail, beach and recreation, events and meetings, and all support functions, ensuring seamless, world-class operations across the integrated resort.
Financial Leadership and P&L Responsibility – You will lead financial performance with full P&L responsibility by managing revenue, expenses, and profitability, achieving financial targets and budgets, maximizing revenue across all departments (rooms, F&B, gaming, spa, retail), controlling costs and optimizing efficiency, managing capital expenditures and investments, ensuring strong financial performance, delivering shareholder value, and driving sustainable profitability.
Revenue Management and Business Development – You will drive revenue management and business development by implementing revenue optimization strategies across all revenue centers, developing pricing strategies, maximizing occupancy and ADR (Average Daily Rate), driving gaming revenue and VIP programs, developing corporate and leisure markets, attracting high-value guests and VIP clientele, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market share.
Organizational Leadership and Team Development – You will lead the organization and develop teams by building and managing executive leadership team, recruiting and retaining top talent, developing succession plans, coaching and mentoring department heads and senior leaders, fostering high-performance culture, driving employee engagement, building organizational capabilities, and creating world-class resort leadership team.
