Role Overview:

High Quality Health Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Accountant to support its financial and accounting operations in Ajman. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and assisting with routine accounting activities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate accuracy, numerical proficiency, and a professional approach to financial documentation and reporting.

General Accounting and Financial Records:

• Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions and accounting entries.
• Record income, expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial activities.
• Prepare and maintain journal entries and supporting accounting documentation.
• Review invoices, receipts, and payment records for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized financial files and ensure transactions are properly documented.
• Assist with maintaining accounting records in accordance with established procedures.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process supplier invoices and assist with payment documentation.
• Monitor customer invoices, outstanding balances, and payment receipts.
• Follow up on pending payments and discrepancies with relevant parties.
• Verify transaction details before recording or processing payments.
• Maintain updated records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with resolving billing and payment-related queries.

Reconciliation and Financial Reporting:

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate differences in account balances.
• Reconcile ledger accounts and review transactions for inconsistencies.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and accounting summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain supporting schedules for expenses, payments, and account balances.
• Report discrepancies and unusual transactions to the appropriate supervisor.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting documentation.
• Assist with preparing financial records for internal reviews and external audits.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of VAT-related records in accordance with applicable UAE requirements.
• Ensure financial information is handled confidentially and responsibly.
• Follow internal accounting procedures and established financial controls.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain missing invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
