Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices, along with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting financial data and trends to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial reporting and analysis.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing detailed financial analysis and reports.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial transactions and procedures to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Proven 7 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles.

Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
