Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified General Accountant to join our real estate team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UAE real estate accounting and be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day accounting operations

Process and record real estate transactions, including rental income, property sales, and associated costs

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management

Monitor and record property-related expenses and maintenance costs

Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations

Support external auditors during audit processes

Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions

Generate financial reports for management review

Required Qualifications

ACCA or CMA certification

Minimum of 3 years of specific experience in UAE real estate accounting

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Excellent understanding of real estate accounting principles

Knowledge of IFRS standards

Required Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication skills in English

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage

Additional Requirements

Must be immediately available to start

UAE residency is preferred
