Job Title: General Accountant

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented General Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in accounts payables and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable transactions.

- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner.

- Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

- Prepare financial reports and analysis as required by management.

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in accounts payables.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be based in the UAE and open to work in Sharjah.
