Job Description / Role

ALEC is seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to join their Fit Out team in Dubai, UAE. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role involves coordinating and supervising the activities of construction workers and subcontractors, while serving as a liaison between management and the onsite team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination:

Oversee and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors at the job site.

Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards.

Project Management:

Oversee scheduling and coordination of construction activities to ensure timely project completion.

Monitor and track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Leadership and Guidance:

Provide leadership to the onsite team, including training, coaching, and performance management.

Maintain regular communication with management, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address concerns.

Equipment Management:

Manage and maintain construction equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

Requirements:

Experience:

Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction or fit-out industry.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of construction processes, procedures, and best practices.

Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.

Skills:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive, results-driven approach.

Good communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
