Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned professional to oversee all fresh food departments, ensuring exceptional quality, presentation, and customer service while maintaining French hypermarket standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all fresh food sections including:
Butchery
Fruits and Vegetables
Fishery
Grilled Items
Pasta & Salad Bar
Bakery Section
Delicatessen
Roastery
Coffee Section
Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and minimize waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
Lead, train, and develop team members across all fresh food departments
Manage inventory, pricing, and product presentation
Monitor and maintain product quality and freshness
Coordinate with suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships
Analyze sales data and prepare reports using Oracle systems
Implement promotional activities and seasonal campaigns
Ensure exceptional customer service standards
Manage department budgets and cost control measures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
6-8 years of progressive experience in fresh food department management
Comprehensive knowledge of:
Butchery operations
Fresh produce management
Seafood department operations
Bakery and pastry production
Deli operations
Coffee roasting and service
Proficiency in Oracle systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
Language Requirements
Fluent in English (Required)
French language proficiency (Required)
Arabic language skills (Preferred)
