Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Management Engineer to join our expanding team. The role involves ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and safety of our prestigious properties while delivering exceptional service to our residents and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily facilities operations and maintenance activities across assigned properties

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems

Monitor and maintain MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems

Conduct regular property inspections and prepare detailed technical reports

Manage and coordinate with contractors and service providers

Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards

Respond to emergency situations and implement corrective measures

Prepare and manage maintenance budgets

Supervise technical staff and maintenance teams

Implement energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practices

Handle tenant/resident technical complaints and ensure timely resolution

Maintain updated documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment records

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in residential developments

Valid UAE driving license

Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations

Professional certification in Facilities Management (IFMA, BIFM) preferred

Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)

Proficiency in MS Office and CAFM systems

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of MEP systems

Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices

Familiarity with energy management systems

Experience with project management

Understanding of HSE regulations

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Strong leadership and team management skills

Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Customer service oriented

Ability to work under pressure

Strong organizational and time management skills
