Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator to join our group of companies specializing in building materials, interior design, and facilities management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our company vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all company vehicles, ensuring timely service appointments and repairs to minimize vehicle downtime and maintain operational efficiency
Coordinate with service providers, workshops, and vendors to schedule maintenance work, negotiate rates, and ensure quality of service while maintaining cost-effectiveness
Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, insurance, registration, and other relevant documentation while ensuring compliance with UAE transportation regulations
Monitor fuel consumption, analyze vehicle performance metrics, and prepare regular reports on fleet operations, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
Manage vehicle-related emergencies and breakdowns, coordinating prompt response and resolution to minimize business disruption
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management or vehicle maintenance coordination
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and UAE traffic regulations
Proficient in MS Office and fleet management software
Valid UAE driving license
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
Experience with procurement and vendor management
Desired Skills
Technical knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance requirements
Previous experience in construction or facilities management industry
Knowledge of UAE RTA regulations and requirements
Experience with fleet optimization and cost reduction strategies
