Guildhall is collaborating with a leading company in the construction equipment industry to recruit a seasoned Financing Risk Manager. This role is pivotal in managing financial risks, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights into risk management.


Job Description:

As the Financing Risk Manager, you will develop and implement risk management policies and procedures specific to financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks. You will collaborate with various departments to identify potential risks and mitigate them effectively. Moreover, you will be responsible for managing receivables financing under credit insurance and developing local sales financing channels overseas.


Key Responsibilities:


Risk Management Policies: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.

Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments, analyze financial statements, and prepare detailed reports.

Financial Risk Control: Monitor and control financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards relevant to financial operations.

Strategic Recommendations: Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on risk assessments and analysis.

Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management.

Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior staff on risk management practices and procedures.

Receivables Financing: Manage receivables financing under credit insurance, overseeing channel development, maintenance, and daily operations.

Sales Financing Channels: Develop and manage local sales financing channels overseas, collaborating with local banks, leasing companies, trusts, and financial institutions.

Business Process Improvement: Develop and improve financing product business processes according to overseas business requirements and risk control management standards.

Data Collection and Analysis: Regularly collect and analyze financing information, market intelligence, competitor information, monetary policies, and foreign exchange policies to support headquarters in decision-making.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Handle other tasks assigned by leadership related to financing and risk management.

Requirements:


Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification such as CFA or FRM is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the construction equipment industry.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in risk management software and tools.

Language Skills: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
