Position Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning, with demonstrated experience in providing insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial planning models and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making

Create detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets

Perform variance analysis and identify trends in financial performance

Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management

Collaborate with various departments to gather data and provide financial insights

Monitor KPIs and develop actionable recommendations based on performance metrics

Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles

Conduct financial scenario analysis and sensitivity testing

Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement

Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling

Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Proven track record in budgeting and forecasting

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification (CFA, CPA, or equivalent)

Experience working in the UAE or GCC region

Knowledge of local financial regulations and reporting requirements

Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
