Job Description

Ascensus is looking for a detail-oriented and capable Financial Operations Analyst to support day-to-day financial operations across multiple business functions. As the largest independent recordkeeping services provider and retirement plan third-party administrator in the United States, powering savings plans for more than 16 million people, Ascensus operates at a scale where accuracy, process discipline, and financial integrity matter enormously. You will respond to and resolve RIA and TPA-related issues, questions, and enquiries, coordinate custom reporting and delivery of RIA information to various firms, and submit recordkeeping helpdesk tickets as needed for fee enhancements, research, and reporting. You will maintain and ensure compliance of Credit Memo and RK Loss databases in accordance with the published Table of Authority, oversee the Managed Account and Fiduciary service product process, and manage the monthly allocation of fund revenue including SubTA and 12b1 fees into plan holding accounts while managing the participant fee equalisation process. Additional responsibilities include QC of quarterly wrap fee calculations, creating invoices and posting outgoing wires using annual, quarterly, and month-end journal entries for Government Savings contracts, monthly reconciliation of billed revenue, insurance, and mutual fund commissions, and dashboard reporting and QC of RIA payments. You will work closely with the Strategic Business Consultant team and client service to ensure a positive advisor payment experience.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferred, and brings strong PC skills across Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with Microsoft Access considered a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities, and a self-directed, organised approach to complex financial operations are all essential. Ascensus' core values of People Matter, Quality First, and Integrity Always are expected to be visible in every action and interaction.
