About the Role:

A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi seeks a meticulous Financial Crime Compliance Analyst to strengthen its anti-financial crime framework. This critical role involves conducting comprehensive gap assessments and enhancing financial crime risk management protocols.

Compliance Project Management:

The successful candidate will oversee the financial crime risk assessment (FCRA) project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with local regulations and international best practices. Your analytical skills will identify vulnerabilities in existing controls while recommending strategic enhancements.

Regulatory Research & Analysis:

You will maintain an up-to-date repository of applicable UAE Central Bank regulations, international sanctions, and FATF recommendations. Your expertise will bridge compliance requirements with operational implementation across business units.

Candidate Profile:

We require professionals with bachelor's degrees in finance/banking and preferably CAMS/ICRF certifications. Your background must demonstrate 2+ years of hands-on experience in financial crime compliance within UAE banking or financial services.

Stakeholder Coordination:

The role demands exceptional collaboration skills to interface with business units, IT teams, and compliance officers. You will translate regulatory requirements into actionable controls while maintaining detailed documentation for audit purposes.

Technical Requirements:

Advanced proficiency in compliance monitoring systems and risk assessment methodologies is essential. Your ability to design UAT protocols for enhanced FCRA models will be crucial for successful implementation.
