Client Overview

Our client is a Multinational Retail Business with global operations. They are currently hiring a Finance Director to be based out of their offices in Dubai, UAE, to lead their financial operations in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met.

Business Partnering: Collaborate effectively with other departments and the Board to ensure that control standards are met.

Governance: Adhere to governance standards and safeguard existing investments.

Risk Assessment: Assess financial risks of potential new investment opportunities and recommend solutions.

Team Management: Manage a team to meet legal and tax requirements.

Procedure Development: Develop and update financial and IT procedures to align with the company’s corporate strategy.

Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively to ensure financial stability.

Team Development: Develop and train a team of direct and indirect reports.

Profile Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance or a related field; professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, etc., are highly advantageous.

Industry Experience: Experience in the retail industry or a distributor-led industry is an added advantage.
