Numbers tell a story, but in the hotel business, they tell a story of occupancy, revenue, and the delicate balance between guest experience and operational cost. COREcruitment is looking for a Finance Controller who can read that story clearly and act on it. This is a standalone role with full financial responsibility for a cluster of hotels across Germany and Austria, working closely with General Managers and regional leadership.

You will be the financial backbone for multiple properties, ensuring that every P&L reflects reality, every reconciliation is airtight, and every budget is built on solid ground. You will manage the monthly close process alongside an outsourced provider, oversee revenue audits and system reconciliations across PMS, POS, and payment platforms, and monitor cash flow while supervising AP, AR, and GL functions handled externally. You will also support budgeting, forecasting, and Capex planning, lead audits, and drive process standardisation across the properties you oversee.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, with five to eight years of experience in finance, including hospitality experience within Germany. You have strong knowledge of HGB, VAT (USt), and hotel operations, and you are comfortable with PMS, POS, and ERP systems. Fluent German and English are essential. You are hands-on, organised, and capable of managing multiple locations independently.

This is a full-time role that can be based in Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, or Munich. The salary range is €60,000 to €85,000 per year, reflecting the seniority and scope of the position.
