Job Description

Al Tayer Insignia LLC is looking for a qualified and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability through strategic financial management. This role requires a deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and performance management, with the ability to provide commercial and financial support to various business units.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic & Operational Planning:

Drive the development and delivery of strategic and operational business plans at the business unit level.

Develop and implement financial budgets and plans to enable commercial teams to meet financial targets.

Manage the divisional commercial teams through the annual budget and forecast cycle.

Business Planning & Performance Management:

Oversee the delivery of business planning and performance management reporting for commercial teams.

Ensure continuous alignment with financial and risk management governance frameworks, systems, and processes.

Monitor brand and business unit financial positions through the production of monthly management reports and insights.

Commercial & Financial Support:

Provide performance reporting and analytics for business unit management and operations teams.

Support commercial projects, financial business cases, and feasibility studies as required.

Contribute to business growth, profitability, cost optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.

Manage profitability through efficient cost base and resource allocation, including ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L), cash flow, and balance sheet.

Performance Monitoring:

Deliver monthly management reports, including preparation of financial reviews and forecasts for monthly business reviews.

Review and manage profitability across business units, both current and forecast.

Maintain mechanisms at the contract level to track and report on financial and operational risk and opportunities impacting profit maximization.

Lead the annual business planning, budgeting, and multi-year business forecasts and trends analysis.

Financial Risk Management & Compliance:

Proactively manage gross profit margin, revenue, labor, cost of goods sold (COGS) optimization, and margin-enhancing opportunities.

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and processes.

Lead process compliance and evaluation to optimize functional performance.

Manage business financial risk at the business unit level and support group audits, ensuring timely action on audit recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Management.

Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MBA are required.

Experience:

Up to 8 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a Finance Business Partner role or a similar position within the retail industry.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong strategic and operational planning skills.

Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and performance management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Strong understanding of risk management, budgeting, and compliance processes.
