Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Family Medicine Specialist to join our growing healthcare team at Amina Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, managing both acute and chronic conditions while delivering patient-centered, quality healthcare services.

Required Qualifications

Valid MOH (Ministry of Health) License

MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution

Specialty certification in Family Medicine

Minimum 3 years of post-specialty experience in Family Medicine

Valid medical license to practice in the region

Excellent command of English; Arabic language skills preferred

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

Perform routine health screenings and preventive care services

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Coordinate patient care with other specialists and healthcare providers

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Supervise and mentor junior medical staff

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical standards

Participate in continuing medical education to stay current with medical advances

Clinical Duties

Conduct thorough patient examinations and health assessments

Order and interpret diagnostic tests

Develop and implement treatment plans

Provide preventive care counseling and patient education

Manage chronic diseases and conditions

Perform minor medical procedures within scope of practice

Provide after-hours coverage as scheduled
