Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Facility Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing facility operations, maintenance, and engineering systems while ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee facility operations, maintenance, and engineering systems

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for facility equipment and systems

Supervise technical teams and coordinate with contractors

Monitor and optimize building management systems (BMS)

Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards

Conduct regular facility inspections and audits

Manage facility-related projects and renovations

Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues

Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation

Develop and manage facility maintenance budgets

Coordinate emergency repairs and maintenance activities

Implement energy conservation measures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facility Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management/engineering

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems

Experience with building management systems (BMS)

Understanding of UAE building codes and regulations

Valid UAE professional certification (preferred)

Excellent project management skills

Leadership and team management capabilities

Proficiency in facility management software

Strong analytical and reporting skills

Excellent communication skills in English

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies

Computer literacy in MS Office and AutoCAD

Working Conditions

Full-time position

Location: Abu Dhabi

Flexible hours including on-call duties

Site visits and physical inspections required

Emergency response as needed
