Position Overview

As a Facilities Manager - Mechanical/Electrical, you will oversee the management of hard services for a prestigious remote facility. Your role will involve advising the client on effective strategies for managing and controlling all facilities management services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for identifying faults, providing reports for rectification, and monitoring work to ensure compliance with quality, statutory codes, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advice: Provide expert advice to the client on strategies for managing and controlling facilities management services effectively and cost-efficiently.

Fault Identification: Identify faults and issues within the facility, provide detailed reports for rectification, and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.

Monitoring & Compliance: Monitor all work in progress to ensure it meets quality standards, statutory codes, and operational requirements.

Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including SFG20, NFPA, CIBSE, BICSc, etc.

Facility Management: Manage large-scale facilities, including handling electrical tests and inspections, statutory compliance, UPS, generators, and HV systems.

Requirements

Education: Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Proven track record in managing large-scale, iconic facilities.

Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of facility management practices and industry trends, including SFG20, NFPA, CIBSE, BICSc, etc.

Skills: Experience with electrical testing, statutory compliance, UPS, generators, and HV systems. Ability to identify faults and manage rectification processes.

Location: Willingness to live and work in a remote location.
