Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team on a prestigious project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This demanding role involves a six-day working week and requires the successful candidate to provide expert guidance and support to our client in managing their facilities efficiently and effectively. The Facilities Manager will serve as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and tailored solutions to optimize facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation & Assessment:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of the client’s facilities to identify areas for improvement.

Analyze current processes, systems, and technologies to develop tailored facility management plans.

Strategic Planning & Implementation:

Develop and implement customized facility management plans based on the client’s specific needs and objectives.

Create detailed implementation plans to improve facility operations, including cost reduction strategies, energy efficiency initiatives, and maintenance programs.

Project Management & Handover:

Manage handovers and project completion, ensuring seamless transition and optimal facility operations.

Provide ongoing support and monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making adjustments as needed.

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability:

Advise clients on best practices for energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of these initiatives.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic thinker with deep expertise in facilities management. They must have strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related FM field is preferred but not essential depending on experience.

Experience & Skills:

Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Facilities Management, with a focus on consulting roles.

Strong knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in facility management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Proficiency in Facilities Management software and systems.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.

Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Schedule:

This role operates on a six-day workweek schedule, with the 6th day compensated at overtime rates.
