Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Facade Technical Manager to lead our facade engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in facade systems, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering high-performance, innovative, and sustainable architectural envelope solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the technical design and implementation of complex facade systems across multiple projects

Develop and oversee technical strategies for facade engineering, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and compliance with international building standards

Coordinate closely with architects, engineering consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop integrated facade solutions

Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations and feasibility studies for facade design proposals

Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers and design team members

Review and approve detailed facade design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

Manage technical risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for facade systems

Ensure all facade designs meet structural, thermal, acoustic, and sustainability performance requirements

Develop and maintain technical standards and best practices for facade engineering

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in facade engineering and technical management

Proven expertise in facade design, engineering, and system integration

In-depth knowledge of building envelope technologies, materials, and performance criteria

Strong understanding of international building codes and standards

Advanced technical skills in facade design software and analysis tools

Demonstrated experience in sustainable and high-performance building envelope solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong project management and leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications in facade engineering or related disciplines

Experience with complex, large-scale architectural projects

Knowledge of green building certification systems (LEED, BREEAM)

Proficiency in multiple facade system technologies

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in CAD and BIM software

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis

Thermal and energy performance modeling

Material science and engineering principles
