Role Overview – Advenser we are hiring experienced Facade Detailers with 2–10 years of hands-on experience to work on global construction projects. This role involves creating detailed facade drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings for curtain walls, cladding systems, and building envelopes that meet international standards and client specifications.

Facade Detailing Expertise – You will prepare comprehensive fabrication and installation drawings for facade systems using AutoCAD, Revit, or other specialized facade detailing software. Your work will include creating detailed drawings for aluminum curtain walls, glass facades, stone cladding, metal panels, and composite cladding systems. Understanding of materials, connections, anchoring systems, and structural requirements for facade systems is essential for producing accurate and constructible drawings.

Technical Knowledge – Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminum composite panels, glass facades, stone veneer, and exterior cladding systems is required. You should be proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate shop drawings that align with project design intent. Understanding of building envelope principles, thermal performance, water infiltration prevention, and wind load calculations will be valuable.

Drawing Production – Creating detailed section drawings, elevation views, plan details, and connection details for facade components. Preparing mullion schedules, panel schedules, hardware schedules, and material specifications. Ensuring all drawings include proper dimensions, tolerances, notes, and references to specifications and standards.

Collaboration – Working closely with architects, structural engineers, facade consultants, and contractors to ensure facade designs are constructible and meet project specifications. Coordinating with fabrication teams to resolve technical issues during manufacturing and installation phases. Participating in design review meetings and addressing RFIs (Requests for Information) from contractors and fabricators.

Quality and Accuracy – Ensuring all drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with project standards, building codes, and industry best practices. Maintaining consistency in drawing standards and notation throughout the project. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines is crucial for project success.

Software Proficiency – Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with Revit, Tekla Structures, or specialized facade software will be considered advantageous. Ability to work with 3D models and extract 2D shop drawings from BIM models is preferred.
