Job Description / Role:

Easy Egg Factory is seeking an experienced Export Manager to lead our food export operations to Africa. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the African market, have exceptional negotiation skills, and demonstrate a successful track record in expanding export operations within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive export strategy for food products targeting various African countries, ensuring adherence to trade regulations and customs requirements.

Market Development: Identify and evaluate potential distributors, agents, and partners in the African market to establish and maintain robust business relationships.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with international clients, securing profitable terms and conditions for the company.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to the African market.

Market Monitoring: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.

Budget Management: Oversee and optimize the export budget, forecasting sales and expenses to meet financial targets and maximize profitability.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the export sales team, setting clear performance objectives and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as an Export Manager or in a similar role within the food industry, with a strong focus on the African market.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices specific to Africa.

Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with international clients and partners.

Strategic Mindset: Business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.

Analytical Abilities: Results-driven approach, capable of setting and achieving ambitious sales targets and financial objectives.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field. Additional certifications in export management or international business are a plus.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, with additional proficiency in languages spoken in the African market being highly desirable.
