About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Events & Hospitality Specialist to join our growing Business Development team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality events while ensuring exceptional hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage end-to-end event planning, including corporate functions, conferences, exhibitions, and client entertainment programs

Create detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines while ensuring adherence to allocated resources

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event execution

Manage venue selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management with key partners

Oversee event logistics including catering, audiovisual requirements, seating arrangements, and guest registration

Implement and maintain high standards of hospitality service across all events

Monitor event expenses and prepare post-event reports and analysis

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners

Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards for all events

Manage and coordinate with on-site event staff and volunteers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Events Management, Hospitality Management, or related field

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in events and hospitality management within the UAE

Arabic language proficiency strongly preferred

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Strong knowledge of UAE business culture and hospitality standards

Proven track record of successful event planning and execution

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in MS Office and event management software

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends when required

Desired Skills & Attributes

Experience in business development or corporate environments

Knowledge of local suppliers and vendors in Abu Dhabi

Strong negotiation and budget management skills

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Creative problem-solving abilities

Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

Team player with leadership capabilities
