Job Description

Overview:

Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial or residential projects. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing project documentation, and supporting sales and project management teams to ensure the successful execution of lighting projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lighting Inquiries:

Respond to customer and partner inquiries related to lighting, including proposals, documentation, RFIs, and technical certifications.

Global Manufacturers Coordination:

Reach out to various global manufacturers to obtain the best prices for their technical offers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

Cost Estimation:

Prepare multi-discipline, conceptual, and definitive cost estimates for capital projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.

Sales Team Support:

Oversee the sales team's schedules and provide them with all necessary information to support their responsibilities in various regions.

Bid Analysis & Contract Negotiations:

Assist project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and participate in contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms.

Project Documentation & Presentations:

Prepare lighting presentations, layouts, and bills of quantity for project designs. Present these to clients and stakeholders effectively.

Value Engineering & Specifications:

Conduct cross-specifications and value engineering for lighting proposals to enhance project cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Cost Engineering & Analysis:

Perform detailed analysis and cost engineering for each project and their associated purchase orders to ensure optimal resource allocation.

LCS Design Involvement:

Participate in LCS design discussions for both new and existing projects, contributing technical insights and cost considerations.

Technical Submittals & ISO Compliance:

Prepare technical submittals and provide responses to comments in coordination with sales personnel. Ensure all project documentation aligns with ISO guidelines, including test reports, O&M manuals, and project closure reports.

Pre-Sales Technical Support:

Provide pre-sales technical support for lighting projects, assisting the sales team in addressing client inquiries and technical challenges.

Additional Responsibilities:

Handle any other related tasks relevant to the Estimator role or company requirements, including ISO documentation for lighting controls.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or residential projects.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with a proven track record in the construction industry.

Additional Qualifications:

Valid KSA driving license (added advantage).
