Position Overview
We are an upcoming luxury hotel in the prestigious Palm Jumeirah, committed to setting new standards in hospitality excellence. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking an exceptional Engineering Coordinator to join our pre-opening team.
The Engineering Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering operations during the pre-opening phase and beyond. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track all engineering-related activities during the pre-opening phase
Maintain detailed documentation of engineering systems, warranties, and maintenance schedules
Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of projects
Manage engineering department documentation, including logs, reports, and work orders
Support the creation and implementation of engineering SOPs
Coordinate training sessions for engineering staff on new equipment and systems
Monitor and track engineering inventory and supplies
Assist in budget tracking and cost control measures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering coordination
Previous luxury hotel or high-end hospitality project experience preferred
Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Outstanding communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Experience with building management systems and preventive maintenance software
Knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations
