Position Overview

We are seeking qualified UAE National Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our emergency response team. The successful candidate will provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation for patients who require emergency medical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assessment and care

Perform basic and advanced life support procedures within scope of practice

Transport patients safely to medical facilities

Maintain patient care documentation and complete incident reports

Conduct vehicle and equipment checks at the beginning of each shift

Clean and maintain emergency vehicles, equipment, and supplies

Collaborate with other emergency service providers (police, fire department)

Participate in continuing medical education and training programs

Follow all health and safety protocols

Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct

Assist in mass casualty incident management when required

Required Qualifications

UAE National

Active Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi License

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid EMT certification

Valid UAE driving license

Clean driving record

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Experience

Previous experience as an EMT preferred

Experience with emergency medical services in the UAE is an advantage

Strong clinical assessment abilities

Excellent decision-making skills under pressure

Physical capability to perform EMT duties

Strong communication skills in English and Arabic

Ability to work in challenging environments

Good team collaboration skills

Computer literacy for documentation purposes

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50kg with assistance

Capability to bend, stoop, and crawl in confined spaces

Standing and walking for extended periods

Ability to work in various weather conditions

Working Hours

Full-time position with rotating shifts

12-hour shift pattern

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

On-call duties may be required
