Overview:

Inaya Facilities Management Services LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join their team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems within residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance:

Experience: A minimum of 3 years in electrical maintenance within residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Systems Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, control systems, and other electrical components within the facility.

Routine Inspections: Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning optimally and meet safety standards.

2. Diagnose and Troubleshoot Electrical Issues:

Problem-Solving: Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot day-to-day electrical breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring systems are restored to full functionality.

Technical Expertise: Apply technical expertise to identify the root causes of electrical problems, whether in wiring, circuits, or electrical components.

Preventive Measures: Implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence of electrical failures, ensuring the continuous operation of facilities.

3. Circuit Diagrams and Electrical Schematics:

Diagram Interpretation: Ability to read, interpret, and understand electrical circuit diagrams and schematics.

Component Functions: Comprehend the basic functions of control power and control components to accurately troubleshoot issues.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical diagrams and modifications, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible for future reference.

4. Use of Industry-Specific Tools:

Tool Proficiency: Proficient in the use of industry-specified tools, including hand tools, analog/digital multi-meters, and insulation meters.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all tools are used in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

5. Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM):

Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) Panels, Distribution Boards (DBs), and Sub-Main Distribution Boards (SMDBs) according to the service schedule.

Seasonal Adjustments: Adjust maintenance schedules based on seasonal requirements to ensure electrical systems remain efficient and reliable throughout the year.

Maintenance Documentation: Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, including the condition of equipment and any corrective actions taken.

6. Site Inspection and Assessment:

Inspection Routines: Conduct thorough site inspections to assess the condition of all types of building electrical systems and installations.

Condition Reporting: Provide detailed reports on the condition of electrical systems, identifying areas requiring immediate attention or future maintenance.

Compliance Check: Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations and industry standards.

7. Corrective and Reactive Maintenance:

Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to electrical issues reported within the facility, performing corrective and reactive maintenance as required.

CAFM System: Utilize Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems and mobility tools to manage and document maintenance tasks efficiently.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members to ensure all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

1. Educational Background:

Certification: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

2. Professional Experience:

Experience Range: 1 to 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and safety protocols.

3. Technical Skills:

Circuit Understanding: Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams and understand the functions of various electrical components.

Tool Proficiency: Proficient in the use of electrical maintenance tools such as multi-meters, insulation meters, and hand tools.

Troubleshooting Ability: Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults quickly and efficiently.
