Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee all electrical systems and maintenance operations within our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance of electrical equipment while maintaining compliance with safety standards and food manufacturing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all electrical maintenance activities within the food processing plant

Manage preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in processing equipment

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and food manufacturing regulations

Lead and train electrical maintenance team members

Maintain detailed documentation of electrical systems, maintenance records, and repairs

Coordinate with other departments to minimize production downtime during maintenance

Implement energy efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures

Participate in facility upgrade projects and new equipment installations

Ensure spare parts inventory is properly maintained

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification

Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, with at least 3 years in food manufacturing

Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, and automation equipment

Experience with high-voltage systems and industrial machinery

Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Valid electrical certification/license

Understanding of food safety standards and GMP requirements

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation

Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software

Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures

Ability to work in a fast-paced food processing environment

Emergency response capabilities for critical equipment failures

Working Conditions

Full-time position with rotating shifts as needed

Working in temperature-controlled food processing environment

Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and climbing

Emergency call-outs may be required

Work in both office and plant floor environments
