Job Title: Electrical BIM Modeler - 6 Month Contract

Job Summary:

J10 Consulting is seeking two experienced Electrical BIM Modelers for a prestigious new project in Dubai. The successful candidates will have a strong background in electrical BIM modeling for major hospitality and high-rise projects within the UAE. This role involves developing detailed BIM models, coordinating electrical systems with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Model Development:

Develop detailed electrical BIM models based on design drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Generate 2D drawings and 3D visualizations from BIM models for presentations and project reviews.

Coordination and Integration:

Coordinate and integrate electrical systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines within the BIM environment.

Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and issues.

Compliance and Accuracy:

Ensure compliance with UAE-specific electrical codes, regulations, and standards.

Maintain accuracy and completeness of electrical models and associated documentation.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve design conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving.

Adhere to company and client-specific BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.

Software and Tools:

Stay updated on BIM software tools and industry trends to enhance modeling techniques and efficiency.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical draughting and BIM modeling.

Proven experience on major 5-star hospitality and high-rise projects in the UAE.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of UAE electrical systems, codes, regulations, and standards.

Ability to interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Competencies:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with a strong team orientation.

Salary:

AED 6,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
