E-Commerce Specialist

Role Objective:

The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for overseeing online marketing and e-commerce activities, ensuring the generation of sales via online channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Online Sales Management:

Manage the daily activities of the e-commerce platform and online sales efforts.

Drive online sales and optimize the Al Zain website to enhance customer communication.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

Maintain up-to-date product information and accurately describe features and benefits to customers online.

2. Customer Support:

Provide support through in-app live chat, phone calls, and emails.

Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information, escalating issues to superiors if necessary.

Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and emails.

3. Order Fulfillment:

Ensure e-commerce orders are completed accurately and on time.

Handle petty cash and document financial transactions (e.g., delivery charges) by entering information into the system.

Book couriers, coordinate, and track the movement of e-commerce items through logistic pathways.

Keep records of packaging materials and restock the store accordingly.

4. Coordination and Collaboration:

Work with Al Zain’s back office, logistics, and merchandise departments to ensure sales and operations meet customer satisfaction.

Coordinate efforts among multiple teams to ensure successful and timely completion of web projects.

5. Site Development and Management:

Manage site development and launch activities for new e-commerce accounts, including product descriptions, images, assets, banners, brand pages, and other attributes.

Ensure Al Zain websites have accurate product information, features, photos, videos, specs, and more.

Monitor and analyze sales and inventory levels by SKU to achieve in-stock and revenue goals.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

Assist with the analysis of product performance reports and e-commerce best practices to recommend sales improvements.

Submit timely reports and prepare e-commerce sales reports as assigned.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of three years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
